Located in a quiet neighbourhood with lots of trees. Your room is on the upper level of a beautiful timber frame, straw bale home built by the owner. There is a home-based massage therapy business on the lower level. Walking distance to grocery and liquor stores. Hinton has a world class bike park and disc golf, golf course and moto track. Your hosts are avid cyclists. We are 45 minutes to the town of Jasper. Be aware there are two large, but friendly dogs in this space and two fluffy cats.

The space
Welcome to our home! The house is a custom-built, timber frame, straw bale home with a natural decor theme. The room you are staying in is on the upper level which does mean you will have to navigate two flights of stairs. You will have access to a shared deck and bathroom. There is a fridge and kettle in the room. If you would like to use our kitchen, please just ask. We have previously hosted cyclists and travellers through WarmShowers and are no strangers to have a busy and shared home. You will be sharing the kitchen and wash facilities with my partner, Bruce, our two dogs, Tansy and Rooby, and two cats, Storm and Star-Lord and myself. I run a massage therapy business on the lower level of the house and if you are in need of a treatment, I will do my best to get you in. Also available to you are an outdoor fire pit and dog run. If your pets are cat and dog-friendly, they are more than welcome.
