Beautifully cozy cottage just a few steps away from charming Lake Edinboro. Just 1.7 miles to Edinboro University and 30 minutes from Downtown Erie or Presque Isle State Park. Experience boating, kayaking, swimming, fishing on Lake Edinboro and the best Steelhead fishing in the fall and Spring on our local streams just minutes away. Enjoy the winter months at Mt. Pleasant ski resort, ice fishing or cross country skiing with many trail at our area parks.

The space
Our cottage offers 2 private bedrooms each with queen size beds an enclosed front porch with a day bed and relaxing sitting area, a full bath and a fully equipped kitchen and washer and dryer for your convenience. The back yard is equipped with a fire pit, grill and an outdoor covered porch for sitting, reading or just enjoying the beautiful day. We have 4 kayaks for your use to take a scenic tour of the lake. At the end of our street is a private little beach with a swim area.

Fishing, Boating, Hunting we have it all. We are conveniently located to some of the best steelhead fishing in the eastern part of the country. The small town of Edinboro has many charming eateries, bars and breweries such as: The Bagel Shop, Flip Café, Sunset Grill, Crossroads Diner, Station 39, the Edinboro Hotel Bar/Grill, Fat Willies, Sprague's Brewery, The Riverside Brewery... to name a few. We are within 30 minutes of Downtown Erie and the beautiful Presque Isle State Park.

Hello, we are Karen & Eric Kish. I am originally from Erie but moved out to Edinboro in 2008. I had found so much peace near the lake that I just knew I wanted to live here. When I bought the cottage, it was in pretty rough shape. I spent the next 5 years remolding it myself. It was good therapy for a rough time in my life. In 2013 I met my husband Eric. He was vacationing in Edinboro and staying two houses up the street from my cottage. He saw me working on a "house project" in the back yard and said to himself " I need to meet that girl". Then 39 days later we were engaged to be married. We have been married for almost 8 years now and everyday has been a blessing, a dream and a whirl wind of adventure.
We spend 9 months out of the year in Ohio where we live in a 400 square foot cabin. We love our cabin as much as our cottage. Since we spend most of our time in Ohio we decided this year we would try the Airbnb thing so others can enjoy the cottage and lake as much as we do.
We both have a passion for the outdoors and love to Hunt and Fish but mostly just love enjoying God's beautiful creations. Enjoy your stay!
