This is the place if you want silence, proximity to real Norwegian nature and the experience of living in a historic house where everything old is preserved.

The beautiful cane-built guardian residence from Setesdalsbanen, dating from 1880, is all by itself with beautiful views of the Otra River with good bathing, hiking and fishing opportunities.

The house is located right next to Setesdalsbanen's old disused cloth with a lot of great old tunnels, culverts and cloths intact, so here it is also something for the train enthusiast and history enthusiast.

The space
The house has been recently renovated and has all modern amenities.

The house is on two floors with large kitchen with long table, living room and one bedroom with double bed on the first floor. The second floor includes a double bedroom and loft with two single alcoves and an extra single bed. The living room also has an old pull-out bed that is suitable for children.

The house is all by itself with the forest and the river Otra as the closest neighbor. There is a private parking lot with garage, but there is no road to the house. It is about 70 meters to walk on a wide path in. There are great bathing facilities in the river about 60-70 meters from the house. Here there are their own swamps to sunbathe on and fishing opportunities.

There are also great opportunities to fish in the large Kile/Goose Flea fjord.
