East Lake is a beautiful 4 mile long and 1 mile wide lake, (a very warm lake) in behind Sandbanks Provincial Park. It is great for sailing, canoeing, and fishing. At the south end of the lake about a mile away, a short river leads to Sandbanks Provincial Park. - birdwatchers will like the swans on the lake and cardinals around the cottage - the stars at night are amazing due to the dark sky - the lake has a rocky beach with warm water.

- weekly rental periods are Saturday to Saturday. Check in is 4 pm, check out is 10 am.
- 5 minute drive (4.4 km) past Cherry Valley on County Rd 18 on the way to Sandbanks Provincial Park.
