This cottage is lakefront on a peaceful lake where there are only eight cottages . We have one neighbour and nobody across the bay. As a result, it is a great place to relax and unwind, featuring a large naturally shaded outdoor deck over-looking the lake, screened in gazebo, bbq, big dock, paddle boat, floating raft and 2 kayaks for your use. It is a 10 minute drive to Dorset. Hike the fire tower trail, and climb the Dorset fire tower. Huntsville and Algonquin Park are close too.

The space
Our cottage is a cozy 3 bedroom place with a L shaped living room (wood stove for heating), dining room and kitchen. It is only suitable for one family or two couples. The log beds, deer antler chandler, and bear decor give it a nature lover’s appeal...it’s the last cottage on the lane too! There is a large shaded deck with a screened-in gazebo to dine in after cooking on the bbq. If you feel like sitting in the sun, there is a spacious dock with deep water to jump right into (not suitable for young children). Also, there is a floating raft to lay on, or dive off, and ample seating throughout the space. You will have access to a paddle boat, 2 kayaks and a paddle board. There is a fire pit to roast marsh mellows. With only a 35 min drive to Huntsville, Algonquin Park, 15 mins to the Frost Centre and 10 mins to the Dorset Fire Tower trail, there are plenty opportunities for both hiking and shopping.
