This RETRO STUDIO (40 m²) is located on the 12°FLOOR of the Royal Ascot residence. The studio is not located on the dike itself but because of its location has a BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the SEA, THE DIKE and THE BEACH (see pictures).

The 'separate bedroom' is a sleeping area in the entrance hall : in the entrance hall, where there are no windows, there is a bunk bed that is primarily intended for 2 children.

The space
The studio is IDEAL FOR A FAMILY WITH 2 CHILDREN (or 2 couples of which 1 couple wants to stay in a bunk bed... ;-)
The studio exudes nostalgia: the furniture, the kitchen and the bathroom are still in the Seventies style.
The studio is retro but clean !
In the seating area there is a double semi-high sleeper allowing you to wake up with a view of the sea or fall asleep with the sunset by your side.
The bunk bed is 1 meter high and there is a comfortable staircase (no faltering ladder) to go to your bed.
In the sitting area there is also a kitchen and dining area.
In the kitchen there are all the appliances: coffee maker, senseo, kettle, small dishwasher, stove, oven and microwave, ...
JUST TO BE CLEAR : by separate bedroom we mean the following : in the WIDE ENTRANCE HALL we have put a bunk bed: ideal for 2 children (and for the parents so that you have privacy while the children have already gone to bed!).
The bathroom is also retro : there is a small sitting pool (ideal for the smaller children) in which we have also installed a shower.
The great advantage of the studio is of course the SPACIOUS TERRACE with furniture and the BEAUTIFUL VIEW of the sea, the beach and the dike !!!

Right in the area there is a small supermarket, many bars restaurants on the sea dike with terrace and sea views, the renowned Thermenhotel (brasserie freely accessible and very tasty), the Olympic swimming pool, the hippodrome (where horse racing goes on every Monday in July and August), a golf course (right behind our studio) and a large cinema.
You can park your car in the parking lot of the cinema, this is immediately next to the studio (see photo).
If you come by train, you take the coastal tram and after 4 stops you will be dropped off right in front of our studio.
You can walk via the sea dike, the promenade or simply via the beach to the center of Ostend in 10 minutes.
There are several supermarkets just a few hundred metres away.
In front of the studio, there is a stop of the coastal tram with which you are in the center of Ostend in 2 stops.
The coastal tram is ideal to visit the whole Belgian coast (without parking problems for the car !).
And by train you can visit the historic art cities of Bruges, Ghent, Brussels and Antwerp!
