Located in the heart of Escanaba's most historical neighborhood, Ogden View Manor is one of many homes built in the area between 1860 and 1900. Timber Barons wanted to live close to the waterfront for convenience when shipping their products. Nearby Ludington Park, on the water’s edge of Little Bay de Noc was home to the original shipping port.
A 3rd-floor servant’s quarters and doors with curly maple on one side and quarter-sawn oak on the other are a few features of this home.

The space
Ogden View Manor is not only close to the "Million Dollar Waterfront", but also just a short walk to the downtown area which boasts many fine eating establishments and interesting shops. Guests can expect to have a basket of locally sourced treats awaiting them. The unit has a safe for your valuables.

In addition to the queen bed in the bedroom, there are two twin-size fold-out couches in the living room.

Where you’ll be

Escanaba, Michigan, United States

Ogden Avenue area is part of the original layout for the City of Escanaba, officially established in 1863. The street was named after William B Ogden and is a mere 6 blocks long; paralleling Lake Shore Drive. Ogden was one of the original landowners in the City. This is a quaint neighborhood where you might see horse-drawn buggies or hear music in the air from the park. Opportunities also exist to enjoy the fine arts with local theater productions, art galleries, museums, and lighthouse. This is a friendly neighborhood.
