The Skytree (Oshiage) area is one of the most famous tourist spots in Tokyo, featuring the famous Skytree Tower and Tokyo Solamachi shopping complex next to it. It is a well-known neighborhood for its delicious Motsu-yaki (grilled tripe) restaurants!
The Skytree neighborhood is located right next to Asakusa. Sensoji Temple in Asakusa is one of the most significant temples in Tokyo. After a long day of sightseeing, you can head to Hoppy Street, a popular place in Asakusa to get drinks at cheap bars while experiencing a lively yet nostalgic, old downtown atmosphere.
Our apartment is close to public transportation (Skytree/Oshiage Station) making it easy to access to the main districts and airports. You can also take the train and get to Kiyosumi-Shirakawa to visit The Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo. There is also a bus in front of the house that takes you to Oshiage, Ryogoku, and Kinshicho stations! Ryogoku has the Edo Museum, Ryogoku Sumo Hall, and Sumida Hokusai Museum -- the best places to learn about Japanese history.
