Where you’ll be

Thônes, France

The Cosy is in Le Sappey, a small hamlet in a secluded valley in the commune of Thônes; a playground for cyclists and sports enthusiasts with just about every conceivable mountain sport on offer. Thônes is famous for Reblochon cheese and other regional specialities all available in the town shops, bars and restaurants or at the market on Saturday morning. In summer the tourist office puts on a whole program of events plus there is a swimming pool, cinema, horse riding centre and via Ferrata. Within 20 to 30 minutes by car you can access Lake Annecy, La Clusaz ski resort, Plateau des Glières - a cross country ski area and site of historic significance for the French Résistance.
