Welcome to Yamba - an amazing holiday destination and twice voted Australia's best town. There is no better location than the iconic Craigmore. Located on the headland between Main and Convent Beaches and facing north-east, you have 180 degree ocean views across the Clarence River breakwater to Iluka Beach in the north and south across Lovers Point to Angourie in the south. Craigmore has direct access to Main and Convent Beaches. Whiting, Turners and Pippi Beaches are all a short walk away.

The space
Craigmore 2 @ Yamba is a ground floor unit - ideal for young families or those who find steps difficult. Craigmore 2 provides a roomy patio and green lawn between you and the ocean view. Sit and watch the local dolphins surf and play. From May until October you can watch the humpback whales on their annual migration. You might even see a stingray, turtle or seal. Keep and eye out for our local kites as they ride the breeze looking for dinner. Surfers can check out the surf conditions at Main, Turners and Convent Beaches while having breakfast on the patio.

Yamba, New South Wales, Australia

If you want a change from relaxing, then there are lots of things to do in Yamba.
Yamba Museum - operated by the Port of Yamba Historical Society, it is located in the heart of Yamba. The museum, its displays and collections are evidence of the settlement of Yamba and its strong maritime history.
Yamba surf Life Saving Club - located on Main Beach and formed in 1908, the Surf Club is one of the oldest surf clubs in the world.
Main Beach - below Flinders Park and the Pacific Hotel, it is patrolled during summer season. The 33 metre salt water Rock Pool is located on this beach and it's great for swimming laps or for kids who don’t want the waves.
Turners Beach - found between the break wall and the lighthouse, it is patrolled in summer. A popular spot for longboards and families.

Whiting Beach - a still water beach on the Clarence River with little to no waves. Just inland of the break wall, it is ideal for children - even when seas are high elsewhere.
Yamba Lighthouse - is located at the end of Pilot Street, on a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The grounds have breathtaking views and make a great spot for picnics and photos. Spot the kangaroos at dusk. The lighthouse has a rich history dating back 150 years.

I love the beach and fell in love with Craigmore the first time I saw it. It's now our family holiday home and we'd love to share it with you. When I'm not working or looking after grandkids (17!), I love to travel with my husband.

During your stay

I offer self check in but I'll be there to check you in and answer any questions you may have if you prefer. I'll be available by phone or email if you need anything or in person if required - I'm only a short drive away.
