It's quiet and peaceful with amazing night time stars against a black sky and doesn't have the tourist crowds of Oahu, Maui or Kona. Short drive (or walk) to black sand Kehena Beach

Travel as often as I can! My preferred mode of transport is bicycle and I like to use Airbnb when I'm on the road on my bike, whatever continent that is. I live on the Big Island in Hawai’i - it’s a magical place where raw nature abounds and is off the beaten tourist track. I have 2 vacation rental properties here - a studio (tiny house) and a 2 bedroom house. I generally use the 2 bedroom house spring, summer and autumn so it is rarely available then. Both properties have a 31 day minimum stay - this is because of a new law recently passed by our brilliant county legislators after the island's hotel owners told them to pass it; it has very little local support & I don't like it either but you will find my monthly rate extremely attractive. Ask about discounts on stays of 2 months or more - I'm negotiable! Hawaii Accommodation & Excise tax is INCLUDED in my prices - my tax ID is W (Phone number hidden by Airbnb)
