This basement apartment is located in a great neighborhood and is just a quick drive to the Downtown Mall, University of Virginia or Airport. It is spacious and includes a full kitchen, living room with Cable TV, separate bedroom with queen bed and standup shower in the bathroom. There is one dedicated off street parking space on a paved driveway. We live in the upper level of this house and can have as much or as little interaction as you would like.

The space
This clean and cheery apartment is a great space to relax after a busy day. We use this space ourselves and believe we have everything you need. There are throw blankets, XFinity Cable and WiFi, and a fully stocked kitchen for you to use. Currently we have a PS4 with multiple sports games but this is not guaranteed for your stay. In addition to the fridge, microwave and stove we also have a basic coffee maker and toaster oven for you to use. However, if you know you'll need something not listed let me know in advance and we will do our best to have it waiting for you.
We have about an acre of backyard for you to gaze upon that typically include a family of deer. You are welcome to enjoy the outside space as well as we have a small covered patio with furniture.
There will be extra linens, towels and toiletries available if needed.
We have one HVAC system for both the upstairs and downstairs so you will not be able to control the temperature directly, however we do have a small space heater and extra blankets if you find yourself chilly. In the summer the average temperature has been about 67 degrees.
We are in close proximity to train tracks. If you are outside when a freight train goes by it is loud but once inside the sound is minimized. The bedroom is located the furthest away from the train and we've never had anyone say its disturbed their sleep.
Please note we have security cameras on the property. There will be a video with sound recording the driveway and entrance to the property.
