Where you’ll be

Castellana Grotte, Puglia, Italy

Casa Dolce Puglia is surrounded by greenery and the tranquility of the countryside in a residential location just 2 km from the centre.
The area is ideal for walking or biking, enjoying the surrounding nature.

In addition, just 2 km away are also the wonderful Caves of Castellana, a unique underground site throughout southern Italy for its beauty and length, which can be visited every day of the year (excluding December 25 and January 1).

We are at the gates of the Itria Valley, famous all over the world for the red colour of the earth and the characteristic dry walls.
The villa is not isolated, as there are other houses nearby, but there is privacy and silence. The room overlooks the greenery, offering a bright and relaxing horizon over centuries-old olive trees, cherries and almonds.

The villa is a few meters from the main road (provincial road 240 of the Eastern Caves - SP 240) that leads to Castellana Grotte.

The village is rich in history and enjoys an intense cultural fervour as well as being renowned throughout the world for the natural heritage it has preserved for over 70 years: the wonderful caves of Castellana. An underground route of about 3km dotted with stalagmites and stalactites with surprising and unique colours and shapes. They are open all year round and each visit is guided by experienced staff.
