Wake up to the beauty of the hills and experience Glamping at Bella Green B&B! Situated beneath an oak tree canopy and with magical views of the Texas Hill Country and dark, dark skies --- you will love it here.

It is the ultimate getaway for couples, honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday celebrations, or solo journeyers who are looking to relax and refresh. There's a private hot tub & firepit too! On-site artisan breakfasts are extra. Massages are currently not available : (

The space
Guests will enjoy the comfortable queen-size bed, and this area's fun outside shower and bathroom area with traditional toilet. There's a private hot tub, charcoal grill, & private firepit (with 6 pieces of wood per day) too!

There is hot/cold running water in the tent/yurt, and a portable AC unit/heater. In the colder months, we keep a dual-control electric blanket on the bed to keep it extra toasty (with each side having their ability to set the heat level).
Traditional hotel style amenities are included (sheets, towels, coffee, tea, toilet paper, shampoo/body wash) and there is a microwave and mini-fridge for your convenience.

On-site artisan breakfasts are extra. Massages are currently not available. Wake up to the beauty of the hilltop and experience Glamping at Bella Green B&B! Perfectly situated beneath an oak tree canopy and with magical views of the Texas Hill Country and dark, dark skies at night - you will love it here!

Guest access
There are several buildings on the property - your hosts home (they live in the main house), the Guest House, found to the right of the main house, the Cedar Cottage found about 450+ feet away (plenty far enough away not to normally hear one another) and a Glamping tent to the left of the host's home and totally out of sight to the other rentals. Each rental space only allows a maximum of two guests (no noisy parties!) and each has their own private outdoor areas with individual fire pits. The "common space" is the host's deck which is where your delicious artisan breakfast is served daily al fresco when the weather is nice (most days!) under the trees, unless it is too cold or raining and then we bring it to you. There is also separate Library Room is behind the tent/yurt, and it is where guest massages are offered (maximum 2 session/day when available) and where tent Glampers have access to a mini-fridge and microwave.

Other things to note:
- FIRE PIT AREA - Your private outdoor fire pit area comes has two low lounge chairs to relax in and you will have a lighter, fire-starter fat wood and 6 pieces of wood per day to use. As fire is our only real danger here ,ALWAYS keep the spark screen on an open fire.
- HOT TUB - With the exception of summer months, always leave the HEAT on! There MAY be silt in the water, It is a natural occurence and won't hurt a thing (except our filters that we change out a lot). Our spa tubs are VERY slow to heat so even as you leave, please leave the heater on ( between 100-102 degrees please). Never use this if ill or pregnant or drinking alcohol.
- EXERCISE OPTIONS - There are plenty of hilly neighborhood streets to walk if you like.
- READING MATERIAL - Just outside our front gate is our "Little Free Library" box where you are invited to TAKE any book you like! Please note: The wellness library resource books are for borrowing only while on the property. You can keep any book you grab it from the library box out front.
~ SPA SERVICES: Temporary we are not offering this service due to health issues (broke my ankle). When the ankle is healed, massages may be available on a limited basis with or without Tibetan bowl sound therapy to close. The cost is $75/hour ($5 discount with cash payment) and would be paid directly to your therapist. Your host, Karen, is a licensed massage therapist with over 25+ years of experience and limits appointments to two per day.
- TINY SPACES TOUR - if any of our other cool spaces (Guesthouse and Cedar Cottage) are not yet occupied when you arrive, or if they are empty at check-out time, we are happy to give you a tour of these unique spaces on property, let us know.

Other things to note
The glamping tent/yurt can have a few daddy long legs spiders (sometimes other small bugs) co-habitating in its space and there may be deer, rabbits, racoons, armadillos, porcupines, Texas tree lizards, fireflies, bees and/or other assorted critters in or on the property. If the thought of that freaks you out, we would highly encourage you to choose the Guesthouse as your rental getaway space.

Your hosts are gourmet cooks who can handle most special dietary needs (if requested in advance).

Please use caution when entering the tent/yurt. If you fall into the screen and rip it there is a $150 fee that will be charged back to you.

No outside guests are allowed (1-2 registered guests only) to keep peaceful integrity.

All inside areas are non-smoking.

Shoes are required to come off prior to entering the tent to help keep it clean inside.

IMPORTANT: Please know this is a rural property and any walking is at your own risk as our hills are steep and rock and our pathways can be uneven. Hiking on the property is VERY LIMITED (at the guest's own risk as it is very steep) and NEVER available if the ground is wet. There is a short walk to a tucked in place that the host's call The Amphitheatre and the path can be very slick and ridden with tree trunks, pricker plants, and slippery leaves. Beyond that, hiking is strictly prohibited on the property (for guest safety) though the main road (Timbercreek) or side road (Valley View) make for a nice walk with lots of UP and DOWN areas and great views.

Mike and Karen Goins, along with their rescue Cockapoo, Sadie, welcome you to their beautiful hilltop property they lovingly call "Bella" (Beautiful in Italian) and "Green" (because of the green hills, and because it is eco-friendly). They originally moved to the Texas hill country to launch and publish a San Antonio version of Natural Awakenings magazine which supported, linked and educated on everything healthy, well and green! Mike is a retired college English and Creative Writing professor and a gifted writer. A native Texan, he has two published books on Amazon, both set at least partially in Texas. "Sisters of the Immaculate Silence" is a poignant and happy-ending story exemplifying the bonds of friendship between five very different women. Their "sisterhood" was first conceived at a special school for the hearing impaired, and this well-woven story tells how their love not only changes who they are, but also who they become as adults offering up equal amounts of tragedy, laughter and joy. His second book "Texas," is written about the Alamo (for middle school children or to be read by an adult to younger kids) tells this true adventure through the eyes and words of the Angus MacMouse - Time traveller (Website hidden by Airbnb) Karen, is a creative soul and entrepreneur who embraces life and loves all people! She is a kinesthetic person who loves to get her hands into her art - pastel rubs, clay work, &/or needlework. A former Communications/Entrepreneurship professor, former wellness director and a long time licensed massage therapist, she grew up in the Chicago suburbs and enjoyed the big city until she moved to Texas when she was recruited to sell enhanced oil recovery software to petroleum engineers and decided to stay! These days, in addition to co-hosting the B&B, she loves being an Air B&B ambassador, helping others fulfill their dreams of owning/operating a successful B&B hosting business and happy to talk to their guests about what this entails. These days their energy is focused enjoying the sunsets, welcoming ALL to their little slice of heaven on Earth and sharing a story or two around a breakfast table if their guests are so inclined.

During your stay
As hosts, we try to be available to greet guests and provide a brief discussion of the unit and property tour upon arrival. We may chat over coffee in the mornings to learn more about you if invited. Otherwise, we make it our business to give you space to enjoy your special quiet time here as you like.

NOTE: We live on the property in a separate building should you need us for anything. We are happy to make recommendations should you request and are here for recommendations and directions as needed.

The only guest interaction is when breakfast is served on the optional shared deck unless you decide otherwise.

Your hosts will greet you upon arrival, and then quietly disappear unless you need them (they live on this 10 acre compound). They are happy to chat over breakfast and/or share ideas about local restaurants and activities if requested.
