The space
You could say that our house is a funky mixture of modern wooden furniture, some antiques and art, lots of bright colours, a few Scandinavian things, some bohemian vibes and lots -yes lots- of plants. We just love our home and are looking forward to share it with you. Here are some of the basics about your room and our house: your private room is located on the first floor near the bathroom and is actually the master bedroom of the house. With it's high ceiling and big windows it feels really spacious. You have a small wardrobe for your clothes, a mirror, bluetooth speakers and of course a comfortable bed.
The living room, dining area and kitchen are all connected, which gives you an open feeling. Our kitchen has a cooking island with an oven and a dishwasher. In the living room we have a gas fireplace, cable tv, multimedia entertainment and lots of board games. There is also a terrace where you can enjoy some fresh air or a smoke. On the ground floor we also have a separate toilet. The bathroom on the first floor has a bath, two sinks, a toilet and a shower with a normal and rain shower head.

Our house is located near the Ghent St Peter's station, "Het Zuid", the museum of modern art (SMAK), the museum of fine arts and the St Peter's Church. The city centre is reachable by foot, but there is also a bus- and tramstation nearby. We live in a quiet area of Ghent with lots of parks and green areas in the neighbourhood. There are also supermarkets and some nice bars nearby.

Hi, my name is Justine. I'm 30 years old and living in the amazing city of Ghent. I graduated as a historian and am currently working for the Mobility Department of the City of Ghent. My friends would probably say that i'm expressive, quirky, honest, curious, enthusiastic and friendly. I live together with my boyfriend, Lorenz, who is also a historian and a really social and open-minded person. As from 2020 our lives have been enriched by a four-legged friend, named Apollo. He is our lovely and stubborn little sausage dog who will welcome you home with a friendly bark and make you laugh with his funny moves and playful tricks.

My boyfriend and i love to travel and in 2017 we left for a 6 month Asia trip, starting in China. During your stay

My boyfriend, Lorenz, and I work during the day on weekdays. It's best if you arrive after 6pm, so we can show you around and introduce you to our home. If you would arrive earlier then 6pm or very late, you can let yourself in with the keys from the little safe under our mailbox. In the weekends we can work out a flexible arrival time or use the safe.
