Welcome to Hanoi Old Quarter and to Mộc (The Wood) Homestay. This is a private 4 floors house in the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter that our family just recently moved out, renovated, and turned it to Mộc Homestay - Mi casa es su casa, 03/19.
This listing is for the entire 3rd floor, Indochine studio - a 30m2 (320 sq. ft) of space with its own private entrance door, bathroom, high ceiling & king bed.
Hanoi Old Quarter has 36 old streets & our house is located in the old Shoes (Hàng Giầy) street.

The space
Our family has done a lot of traveling ourselves so we understand the needs of travelers when it comes to the old town like Hanoi Old Quarter - Bukchon Hanok Village, Ruifan District, Old Quebec City, SOHO, etc...

This 3rd floor is furnished with pretty much all that you need for either a quick stay or for an extended period of time. There is a California king bed that can fit 2 adults and a small child. There is also a wooden couch that someone can lay down there if needed. For extra fee ($8) we can provide a twin size bed if you would like.

The private bathroom that just got renovated has a brand new standing shower with standard European toilet and single vanity.
We will provide free high speed wifi to our guesses.
This floor has high ceiling (almost 4 meter or 14ft height) which is a very rare find in the old quarter.

Location is what will really stand out for our place. It is in the middle of the heart of Hanoi Old Quarter - the old Shoes street. You will be able to absorb and get soaked in the real living experience of a Hanoian. You will be able to walk to any of the old quarter's hot spots and attractions from our place.
When you are tired of walking around, you can get back to our place - sitting out in the balcony area watching the daily life of Hanoian flowing below you. Believe me - this is an experience that you will really enjoy.
This street will be very quiet after 8PM when all the shops close. This will give you a very good night of sleep. If you would like to go out and enjoy the night life in the old quarter - a 2-3 min. walk will take you right to the very popular Ta Hien beer street where you will be able to meet with the local and other travelers from around the world. For a 10 min. walk, you will be able to get to Hoan Kiem Lake - the biggest attraction in Hanoi not only for tourist but also Vietnamese. From 7pm Friday night to 11:59PM Sunday night, Hanoi blocked all traffics around Hoan Kiem Lake and turns this area into walking streets. You can find many fun Vietnamese traditional games shown and played in this area. There are a lot of family activities here.
