Our 2 houses, The Carriage House and The Farm House, are near to each other among trees, creating a peaceful, quiet atmosphere with the shady pond in view. Read on the bridge over the ponds or fish along the banks.

The space
It is important to note that Mitchell Ponds Inne “The Estate” is a rental of two houses on the property. The beautiful Farm House is original to the property. It is well preserved and furnished accordingly. The Carriage House was renovated into the guest house it is today in the mid 90s. The stone foundation is exposed on the lower level and the original wood framed roofing peaks in cathedral style—it is truly one of a kind!

The Farm House has a full kitchen including a full cooking range and oven. The Carriage House kitchenette has a 2 burner gas range and large toaster oven for cooking needs.

Both houses have 3 private sleeping bedrooms. The beds of the Farm House are doubles and the Carriage House beds are queens, creating bed space for 12 guests in the two houses.

The Carriage House has 2 bathroom which include 2 showers, 2 toilets, and 1 jacuzzi tub. The Farm House has 1 full bath on the second floor.

I was born and raised 10 miles up the road. I left home for school and moved back with my husband 8 years ago to plant roots, get involved with the family lumber business, and to raise our growing family in such a wonderful environment!

I do not stay on the property but live close by and can be available to assist you if the need arises. I do like to greet my guests when possible but if I can't be there, self check in is available.
