A unique space full of authentic character; a Bor Mayim [converted Water Cistern] which was used to store drinking water. Located in central Jerusalem, 2 minute walk from the Light Rail and very close walking distance to the city centre and Old City. The apartment has been designed by a professional Designer to provide a flexible studio space with separate living and sleeping areas and a full bathroom. Guests have their own exclusive, outdoor seating area. Perfect base to explore Jerusalem.

The space
The apartment is partially sub-ground, has a high vaulted ceiling and over 1 metre thick walls and therefore maintains a constant cool temperature all year round. However, there is full air conditioning as well as underfloor heating.

The Bedroom area is above the living space, where the bathroom and closet space is located.

The apartment does not have a kitchen but has a small fridge, microwave and kettle.

There is space for, and we can provide, a Cot for a small baby.

You may be aware that we normally restrict bookings to a maximum of 7 nights. However for Guests travelling by themselves we are prepared to accept longer bookings by arrangement - if you want to stay more than 7 nights please send an Enquiry asking about a longer stay.

The local area, Musrara, has a unique history, being the centre of the Black Panther movement in Jerusalem in the '50's and '60's. The area is currently the cultural hub of Jerusalem, home to the original Bezalel Art School, which is currently building a new Art School on a huge site very close to the apartment.
