Where you’ll be

Managua, Nicaragua

Colonia Centroamerica is a quiet and safe neighborhood in a great location that allows you to experience the traditional local living and -at the same time-be close to the best shopping and nightlife areas in Managua.

This neighborhood is famous for its “fritangas”, street food stalls that serve barbecue and other local delicacies after dark. A typical serving that includes gallo pinto (fried rice and beans), fried green plantain, salad and a selection of protein (grilled chicken, pork, beef or cheese) can cost about C$150 cordobas. You can eat there or order to take away.

There are food vendors daily walking by. You can buy fruits, vegetables, ice cream, traditional food and deserts from them!

Additionally, you can find other nearby bars and bistros that offer pupusas (Salvadorian delicacies), ceviches, hand made pasta and fast food.
