Located approximately at an elevation of 6500 feet above sea level, my heritage property was bought by my grandfather from Col. James Farrant in 1928 (during the British period). It is a beautiful victorian building made of cedar wood, mortar, limestone and stones. Surrounded by cedar trees, it has the twin advantage of being located in a peaceful spot in the heart of Dalhousie, yet remains only 500 meters from the main market place.

The space
This is a property for peace, solitude, writing, music and rejuvenating. There are several walks, treks and vantage points for snow views within a few kms from the property. The grand snow views of the majestic Pir Panjal ranges from September to April are a treat for the eyes.

The cedar forests caressed by cool winds breathe life and ecstasy into a nature lover's system. There is scope to enjoy nature in solitude or in the company of a group.

While this room can accommodate 2 adults, another bigger room, adjacent to this one, can accommodate 4 adults. While there would be no extra charge for 3 guests in the big room (it has king size bed of 8x6.5 ft dimension), there would a charge for the fourth guest (if any) @ Rs 750 per night.
