Our apartment offers easy access to everything Old San Juan has to offer! It's situated a block from the Old San Juan Cathedral and El Convento Hotel, and only a couple of blocks away from the Plaza de Armas, the City Hall, the Fortaleza –Governor’s Mansion- and the famous Calle San Sebastián. It is walking distance to historic sites like the El Morro and the traditional Parque de las Palomas. A short walk will also take you to Paseo La Princesa and the Old San Juan Port.

The space
Stay in the Heart of Old San Juan! This charming 1BR apartment is right at the center of the Historic District, in a historic Spanish colonial building, equipped with a full kitchen (no functioning oven) and bathroom, perfect for a quiet vacation and the "living local" experience. Ideal for couples or families with children (accommodates approx. 2-4 people), we offer a QUEEN size bed and a FULL size futon –in the living room… an extra “mini” futon can accommodate an additional small child-. Central AC, Wireless Internet (read #4, below), TV, marble floors and ample closet space are among its many amenities; in addition, our guests can enjoy a read at or some quiet time at the building’s indoor courtyards.

A few notes:
1. This apartment is on the third (3rd) floor and there are no elevators in the building...
2. It is an "inside" apartment, it doesn't have a balcony or windows looking out to the street.
3. Old San Juan has all the charm of an old historic town, but it also has the very old water supply system. You may encounter issues with inconsistent water pressure and sometimes NO water service at all. This usually resolves itself in a couple hours at the most; however, it may be possible that it’ll take longer… unfortunately, there’s nothing to do other than wait until it comes back.
4. In general, the WiFi connection tends to be very reliable. However, being that this is the Old Town and the internet company that services it uses the old phone lines, there may be some connectivity issues every now and then, especially on rainy days. So, we do recommend planning on an alternate option - like using your phone as a hotspot- in case you need it for work or something important. This may not be an issue at all during your stay, but we do want you to be aware that it does happen from time to time, and all we can do it wait for it to get back to "normal."

I am a singer/musician from San Juan PR. I lived in the states for 15+ years and now I’m back in my beautiful island, and happy to host you during your visit.

One of the things I enjoy the most in life is traveling; being able to travel, explore new places and learn from other cultures have made me the person I am today. There are just a few things that make me as happy as traveling -family/friends, music, literature, photography- which is why I love sharing stories and experiences everywhere I go and with anyone I meet who wants to listen.

Through this rental property, I want to give you the opportunity to explore and experience one of my favorite places in the World: OLD SAN JUAN.
