Where you’ll be

Nor Yungas, Departamento de La Paz, Bolivia

The cottage is a ten-minute walk from the nearest village, El Chairo, where you can find small shops with basic supplies. The Inca Trail, El Choro, ends in the village of El Chairo, so you may see some tourists. You can take the Inca trail uphill towards the last camp site called Sandillani (two to three hours walk) and experience the incredible sights and nature of the Yungas on your own. For a similar but quieter experience you can walk on the way to Pacallo (one hour walk). There is a health post in Pacallo in case of medical emergencies.
