The room is located in a nice apartment just been renovated to offer you a new and confortable space for your time in Venice.
Remember, if you are 2 people you need to select 2 adults when you make the booking

In the light of COVID 19 situation, flat is delivered perfectly clean with certified sanitizer, sanitizing hand gel and disposable gloves will be available


The apartment is located in a traditional Venetian building at the first floor, it's very dry and absolutely has no humidity or problems in case of high water.

The apartment has 2 bedrooms, THE SUN ROOM and THE MOON ROOM, each of one with its PRIVATE BATHROOM with shower, bathroom are not inside the rooms but inside the apartment on the corridor.

The apartment has a new complete kitchen with dining space to share with the other room's guests.


Your room will be already set with bed sheets, blankets, towels, sleepers and shower soap and shampoo.

The apartment is located in a strategic position in order to make your arrival in Venice the easiest possible. The apartment is located in Venice at the beginning of the traditional area of Cannaregio, few meters far away from the old Jewish district and exactly at the beginning of the famous Fondamenta Ormesini, one of the most peculiar and lively canal street in Venice.
In terms of distances the apartment is exactly:

950 metres far away from Santa Lucia train station, you can walk from the train station to the apartment in 10 minutes just passing 3 bridges.
450 metres from Guglie bridge stop0lj (Ponte delle Guglie) that is the best location if you arrive from the airport, since from the airport you can take the direct shuttle boat (ALILAGUNA) that will bring you at Guglie bridge in approximately 35 min. From Guglie bridge stop you can walk to the apartment in 5 min.
1.3 km far from Piazzale Roma, the main bus stop and car arrival point in Venice

DESCRIPTION OF THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

The apartment is located in Cannaregio in a close position to the train station and to Piazzale Roma.
It is few metres far away from the Old Jewish District and it is located few metres far from the famous Fondamenta Ormesini, one of the most peculiar and beautiful canal street in Venice.
The area is particularly interesting because it is at the same time an authentic Venetian area were you can see and enjoy the quiete and beauty of the city without the crowed but at the same time it is a spot very popular for hanging around, where you can find some of the best local restaurant, cafes, bar and pubs. You will see a huge difference from the caotic areas of Rialto and San Marco, that are anyway very close by. The area is also a local place where you can find any kind of shops, supermarkets (2 at few hundreds metres), grocery shop, butcher shop, bakery and pastry shop and so on.

BEST PLACE FOR FOOD&DRINKS:

I strongly suggest you to check out those following restaurants:
- PONTINI: an excellent traditional venetian restaurant near Guglie bridge (just 400m far from the apartment), fantastic food with reasonable price and high quality
- CASA BONITA: another great option for a real venetian place, great fish, good prices and great quality, around Guglie bridge area as well
- AL TIMON bistro: the best place in Venice for the traditional Cicchetti appetizers and famous for excellent meat plates, just outside the house on Fondamenta Ormesini
- AL TIMON BRAGOZZO: excellent fish restaurant just outside the house on Fondamenta Ormesini
- PARADISO PERDUTO: one of the most famous local tavern, simple great menù, fantastic Cicchetti as appetizers, just 400 m far from the house on Fondamenta Misericordia
- LA CORTE: absolutely the best pizza in Venice, great food as well and great prices too, just 1.2km far from the house in Campo San Polo

MOVING INSIDE VENICE

The best way to move around inside Venice it is by walking. The city is very small and in one day you can edventually walk all around it.
In case you prefer you can take one of the public boat (called Vaporetti) that connect most part of Venice. Each one way tickets it cost 7.50, they are generally slow and overcrowed so my suggestion is to take them only if really necessary.
It's also interesting in case you stay in Venice more days, to make a multiple day tickets, you can buy a 24h ticket, a 2-day tickets, a 3 day tickets, ect....check at the boat stop your best options according to your plan, you can get all info on the ACTV website
You will definitly need a boat if you are planning to see the islands around Venice such as Burano, Murano, Torcello, etc.
