A charming detached stuga of 45m2. The stuga is located at Skabram Camping & Stugby, a small, quiet farm campsite. Here you can enjoy nature and walk directly from the campsite.

The stuga is within walking distance of the Skabram Lake where you can swim, row, canoe or fish.

Also get to know the animals on the farm. There are sheep, goats, chickens and rabbits. In March we even expect Alpacas. The animals like to come to you for a stroke.

The space
The detached stuga has a living room, bathroom, kitchen and 1 bedroom. The kitchen is equipped with an electric hob, oven and refrigerator, cutlery, pans and crockery. The bathroom has a shower and toilet. The cottage has 1 bedroom with a double bed (140x200) and a bunk bed. In the summer there is a nice seating behind the cottage with garden furniture.

Skabram is a real paradise for hikers, athletes, fishermen and nature lovers. In addition, the Midnight Sun shines continuously for three months in summer and you can therefore fully enjoy all the natural beauty, day and night. Definitely a unique experience!

Camping Skabram is an excellent base for those who want to move out. From the campsite, colour-marked hiking trails go into the vast forest and take you past picturesque lakes to beautiful viewpoints and picnic spots.
The impressive national parks of Sarek, Padjelanta, Muddus and Stora Sjöfjället are also within easy reach from our campsite.

Or throw out your rod on the edge of the Skabram lake or row the water with a boat. Who knows, you fish your dinners together! You can also go to famous fishing areas such as Pärlälven and enjoy the tranquility and impressive nature.
On the campsite you will find fireplaces where you can bake your own caught fish.
We also rent fishing poles and also sell fishing permits and as a guest on our campsite the rowing boats are free to use.

During warm summer days (which occur!) you can also cool off in the Skabram lake and laze on our small stone beach in the sun.

But also during the winter it is definitely worth the time to stay at Camping Skabram.
The magical northern light that moves regularly in the sky above Lapland during cold winter nights can be admired from Skabram. Our campsite is located exactly in the small area around the Arctic Circle where this enchanting phenomenon shows itself well.

Or step on your snowshoes or click on your skis below and discover the overwhelming silence and loneliness of winters Lapland from Skabram camping. Follow the endlessly long tracks across Lake Skabram. Snowshoe lovers can indulge in the vast, pristine forest that Skabram borders.
For very sporty cross-country skiers, the Talvatis Nature Reserve is 3 kilometres from Skabram. Here you will find challenging, well-groomed illuminated trails from different distances.
And coming home after a long day in the cold, you can relax in our small, wood-fired sauna, on the edge of Lake Skabram.

But we must not forget the other winter activities. Give yourself an unforgettable day by booking, for example, a dog sleigh ride or snowmobile ride. This is possible in the immediate vicinity of Camping Skabram.

Where you’ll be

Jokkmokk, Norrbottens län, Sweden

Museum Ájtte
One of Sweden's most beautiful museums can be found in Jokkmok. It is called Ajtte and is dedicated to the history and culture of the Samen and the mountains of Lapland. Here you will find the story of life and survival in a demanding climate and environment.

During the summer you can find alpine plants almost in the middle of Jokkmokk. A few hundred meters from the Ajtte Museum, along a rushing stream, lies Jokkmokk's botanical garden, Fjällträdgården, an attraction for all flora lovers. Here you can learn everything about the flora that occurs in the mountains of Lapland.

Dog sledding
Discover winters Lapland sitting from a dog sled, or drive your own husky team through the snow-covered forests and the unique wilderness of northern Sweden. The only sound you can hear is the silence of nature and the soft crackling of the snow as the sled glides over the white plain. From 1.5 hours to 10-day mountain tours.
Snow scooter tour
Do you love a bit of spice, but do you still want to experience that unique silence and beautiful nature? Then perhaps a trip by snowmobile is something for you. Step up through the velvety snow or over the ice and speed? You will never forget this experience. Of course, a delicious cup of coffee with cinnamon sandwich or hot lunch is also provided at a crisp wood fire.

Reindeer tour
It takes a nice trip by car of about 2 hours to get here.
A unique experience awaits you. You will experience the northern Swedish winter landscape from a totally different perspective, namely with your own reindeer sleigh. An unforgettable adventure awaits you. After getting to know the reindeer and having received a brief instruction on how to drive the reindeer sled and reindeer, you will enter the incredibly beautiful winter landscape of Lapland.

Visit the reindeer
This tour is for those who want to immerse themselves more in the Sami culture.
At the fireplace in the Lávvu (tent) you can enjoy the stories about the history and culture of the Sami and listen to the beautiful Joik, the traditional sami way to tell a story musically. Then you enter the coral to meet the curious reindeer and feed them and get very close.

Trip on traditional wooden skis
Travel on traditional wooden skis through the snow-covered forests and let the everyday reality slip away from you. Meet the Swedish ’fika’, and cook coffee or tea over a fire, while enjoying the Arctic outdoors in silence.

Skiing and snowboarding
About an hour from the campsite is Dundret, the challenging ski resort of Gällivare, in the north. And if you drive south for a little less than an hour, you will reach the picturesque slopes of Kåbdalis.
