In our holiday home "Casa Margarida Azul", right in the historic center of Silves you will experience the Portuguese everyday life of a centuries-old city that rises with its castle on the banks of the Arade between hills and orange groves. The town house from 1857 was modernized by us in 2017/18, creating a symbiosis of traditional materials and a modern way of life.

The space
The kitchen, living room and bedroom have a state-of-the-art air conditioning system that you can use to heat on cold days. Especially beautiful is the roof terrace, which rises above the roofs of the city, unforgettable the light of the sunrises and sunsets and the typical "Algarve-fragrancy" of figs, oranges and strawberry tree - mixed with the salt of the fresh Atlantic air. From here, far from tourist strongholds, you can explore the wonderful landscapes, towns and beaches of the Algarve (the nearest beach can be reached in 10 minutes by car). Due to the use of biological cleaning and laundry detergents allergy sufferers feel comfortable in the house. Allergy vacuum cleaner available. Pets are not allowed, no smoking in the house, no parties. Washing machine, bed linen and towels are provided. Guidebook Algarve Baedeker in the house (German). Free Wi-Fi, Smart TV.
