The space
We offer a small, cosy room of about 7 square meters within our family home in the quiet green residential area of Heer. And yet it's only a few minutes to the TEFAF venue, the international Maastricht University, the University hospital, and the beautiful historic centre of Maastricht.
In your room there is a bed (1,90mx90cm, extendable to 120 cm wide), a desk with a chair, a heater and some shelves to store your belongings. And yes, we make your bed with crisp ironed sheets :)

Where you’ll be

Maastricht, Limburg, Netherlands

The neighbourhood is very quiet and green, but also has some shopping opportunities nearby. One of the few windmills of the area (still operating on some days) is just around the corner. For cafés and restaurants, we recommend the charming centre of Maastricht.

I come originally from Northern Germany, and have lived in different European countries with my husband and children. I'm not on the Book of Faces, and I don't smoke. I try to limit my ecological footprint. I like pets, but will be thankful to your cat for keeping its distance from my room during my stay, because I am slightly allergic. I'm very interested in languages, architecture, design and craftsmanship. My hobbies are choir singing, interiour design, and my own holiday home in Vilnius (Lithuania).

We're a German family that moved into the international environment of Maastricht in 2009. Our children used to attend the UWC international school of Maastricht; we also frequently host UWC guest students.
We are quite skilled at making breakfast, too ;)
