An old house built during the mining years of Murdochville in 1951. It is old but cozy! The house is located 1km from Mont Miller and is close to many other mountains and lakes! Murdochville is a quiet town in the summer but is lively in the winter.

The house isn’t perfect, it needs some renovations/some fix ups here and there but it is perfect for a quick trip to Gaspésie and for a good price!

We hope you enjoy your stay, and the peace and quiet of Murdochville :)

The space
The house is a side by side! We have tenants who live on one side all year round and take care of the rented side! We are available to answer any / all your questions! We love to play outside and explore our hometown of Murdoch and all the activities it has to offer. If you are looking for places to hike or relax, just message us and we will let you know where to go!

As mentioned before, the house isn’t perfect (built in 1951, one of the first homes built in the city), but it is perfect for a trip to the center of Gaspésie and for a great price! If you have never been to Murdochville, I suggest doing a Google search to ensure you know the history and what to expect.

The atmosphere here in Murdoch is calming and relaxing! If you like being relaxed on vacation, this is the place for you! We receive more snow than anywhere else in Quebec. Perfect location for winter enthusiasts!

During the summer Murdochville is very quiet and not very busy. It is great for hiking local mountains and enjoying the peace and quiet. If you are looking for something to do in the summer months, we suggest going to Gaspé or Percé (about an hour and a half away).

Originally from Ottawa ON where I grew up involved in any and all sports possible! I moved to Montreal to attend Concordia University where I graduated with a BA in Urban Planning and a minor in Eduction. I spent 10 years in Montreal for school and work. I visited Murdochville for a ski trip in 2016 and knew I would one day live here! I am a active person who loves playing outside which is why I recently moved to Murdochville where I would be surrounded by Mother Nature and everything she has to offer! I love dogs, especially my Bernese Mountain Dog named Coach!
