Our one room cabana with open air shower. Remote village on southern lagoon. No bus service. so If you do not have own transportation we can charter a ride for you for around 25 to 35 U.S. from Hope Creak. A real Jewel in the ruff. Restaurant meals around 10 U.S. Swimming in lagoon and tours with local villagers.

The space
Our first guest Chris said it all. A Jewel. What makes it so special also is what also keeps many from making it to Gales Point Manatee.. it is remote. You must be just a little more rugged than the average traveler to stay here. For generations villagers have had to take local resources to create money. Fishing, farming and hunting is the life here for the original creole settlers, untell now. History began here for run away slaves. Safe lagoon with lots of food. Tourism will eventually reach here. We wish to humbully introduce this village and remind you about the simple ways of life. Villagers love travelers, it is a pleasure for them to share their life. Ecotourism is village goal.
So if you like real exploration, endless beaches with no one in sight, Fishing, with hand line?,Caving, bird watching, learning to cook creole foods, drumming or building own drum, meet the local elders, or RELAX! It is here.
