Outfitted with tasteful linens and bath amenities. Furry friends are welcome - NO Pet fees!!! NOTE:

The space
Note: If booking between November 1st and April 30th, there is a high likelihood of snow during your visit. The cabin is located on the highest point of the farm with amazing views. Guest will need a 4WD vehicle or hosts can transport you to the cabin. Once booked, we will call to discuss the details to ensure satisfaction before the cancellation policy period expires.

Taplin Hill Farm is pet friendly. We are dog lovers ourselves and there is nothing like seeing your furry friends run off leash through the woods and pastures. We encourage our guests to bring them. We travel everywhere with our dogs, Oakley and Peanut and we realize that trips are just not the same without them.

This cabin was built with serenity in mind. You will be on the peak of the farm with total privacy knowing the nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away through the woods. The cabin is off-grid and powered by a generator. Flip a switch from inside and you’ll have power just like your home. The cabin has the amenities you are accustomed to while also taking time to enjoy the restorative sounds of nature.

There is a large deck with two Adirondack chairs over-looking the White Mountains that makes a perfect spot for morning coffee/tea, afternoon cocktails and stargazing at night. Wrap yourself in a snuggly blanket (we provide) for cooler mornings and nights. There is also a picnic table.

Step off the deck and you’ll discover endless trails. You can hike woods filled with sugar maples and white birch trees, cross streams, forage mushrooms, see endless stone walls and immerse yourself in nature’s wonderland.

You will also have full access to the 180-acre farm where you can explore the rolling hills and pastures dotted with Scottish Highland cows and horses and walk along a mile long driveway while taking a break at the various lookout points from Adirondack chairs throughout the farm.

There is a pond with a dock and picnic table that is perfect for swimming for humans and their furry friends. A great spot for a picnic and to soak up sun.
