Where you’ll be

Lydney, United Kingdom

Lydney has a beautiful and well managed local Park with a cafe and here are just a few of the many activities within easy reach.
You could pedal a bike away on the extensive cycle track network and cycle into the very heart of our beautiful Forest of Dean or maybe you would prefer to go canoeing on the River Wye.
If you are up for a challenge why not test yourself on Go Ape and walk through the treetops or for a more relaxing day take a ride on a Steam Train from Dean Forest Railway.
At Taurus Crafts you could try your hand at pottery or perhaps make your own jewellery, there is lots more on offer including a restaurant.
Visit Clearwell Caves and go deep into the caves which were ancient Iron mines or go for a walk in the ancient woodland of Puzzle Wood and experience the mystical and magical surroundings.
There is the National Diving Centre just 15 minutes away which offers activities such as zip wire and abseiling or the Dean Heritage Centre which gives an insight into the social and Industrial history of the Forest of Dean. The list could go on and on as there are so many exciting things to do and places to visit so why not come and see for yourself, we look forward to meeting you.
