This is a simple beautiful cottage on the water 4 miles from downtown Ithaca. West side of Cayuga Lake, with kayaks, dock, lake frontage, grill, firepit, for wonderful outdoor living. Plan to stay as long s possible because you will not want to leave! Rates vary with length of stay and season. Dogs allowed.

The space
Many lake cottages are atop hillsides and the beach is far below. Here, there are steps from car to house, but once home, you are at the beach! Neighbors are nearby and friendly, but privacy reigns on your porch, the dock, and of course in your rooms overlooking the water.

The cottage is right on the water, with other houses nearby. There are 85 steps from the parking area,which is ample for a few cars, and once down at the house, you are steps from the dock. it is a friendly neighborhood And everyone respects the privacy of others. the Ithaca Yacht Club is nearby but is a private club.

I am a long time Ithacan, with a physical therapy practice in town, Hands On Physical Therapy. I raised my children in Ithaca. We took lots of trips looking at, and then visiting colleges, and I always wanted a place like the one I have created in my home, with room for myself and teenaged kids. I also have realized another dream, having a cottage on the lake here, and I am enjoying hosting people at both these sites. I love the outdoors, reading, writing. Hope to see you!
