Imagine waking up in the morning by the birds and monkeys and that you start your day with yoga looking over the ocean. A healthy breakfast (included) is coming your way while you are drinking fresh brewed coffee at the rancho surrounded by banana trees. We have a yogadeck with a view over the Nacascolo Bay. Enjoy the view in our shared rancho and dive into our swimming-pool to cool of from the year-round sun in Nicaragua. Exercise in our outdoor fitness which is free to use for our guests.

The space
Inspired by nature, Eden has five 40-m2 freestanding cabanas for guests to stay in. The cabanas are all made of eucalyptus wood and set up in such a way that you can enjoy your privacy. On the deck of your cabana you will be in the midst of our tropical hillside garden, enjoying comfort and nature at the same time. Every cabana has its own king-size bed (which can also be separated into two comfortable single beds), mosquito netting, ceiling and standing fans, a private bathroom with a shower equipped with hot water and a deck with a Nica-style hammock.

Eden is located just outside of colorful San Juan del Sur, a small town in a horseshoe bay with lots of restaurants, bars and cafés. From our peaceful home base in the countryside you’re only a 10-minute drive or 30-minute walk away from town. Experience the best of both worlds! Eden looks out over Nacascolo Bay, a 10-minute walk. It’s a beautiful bay to walk around and relax. We organize surf trips to the manifold surf beaches around San Juan del Sur.

Remy and Kelly, both from The Netherlands, decided they wanted a change in their lives. The interest of becoming a better version of themselves and living a healthy lifestyle was always a big part of their lives as they both had professional tennis careers. After their tennis careers Remy started his own ticket-company and after studying Law, Kelly worked as a tax-advisor. They came to a point where they asked themselves if this was the life they wanted to live, the answer was no. They traveled the world for over a year and got inspired in many ways. Their dream was to create a place where they could share their passions for good food, surfing, tennis and yoga. A place where people can wind down and take the time and peace to be conscious of their way of living. Conscious of what makes them happy, conscious of body, mind & soul and most of all give people a great time. That dream became reality at a place called Eden on the Chocolata.
