Nestled blocks from Patterson Park and the Inner Harbor Promenade on a quiet little known alley street, this comfortable rowhouse is conveniently situated for whatever your plans might be while visiting Charm City.

The space
I live in a cozy work-in-progress (hence, the blue painter’s tape in some of the photos & some quirks that are described below) two story rowhouse on a quiet alley street, 2 blocks from Patterson Park. When you arrive, you'll be greeted by a small but comfortable living room that includes a nap friendly sectional couch & a 55” tv with surround sound along with a fully equipped kitchen, including functional butcher block counters, a microwave, dishwasher, two refrigerators (one under the stairs for food; the other under the counter for beverages), & crystal wine glasses for wine lovers. There’s no dining table but a breakfast counter with adjustable barstools makes prepping & eating while watching whatever you're streaming in the living room wonderfully convenient.

You'll also see the stairs upon entry, which lead to a small outdoor area that includes the spiral staircase to the rooftop deck (with views of the harbor), my bedroom, the bathroom, and the bedroom that is available to rent.

About the 2d floor bedroom: This room has vaulted ceilings and two northern facing windows, which allow a surprising amount of light. There is a queen size bed, a closet with two clothing racks and two shelves, a small table w/two folding chairs, a window a/c unit with remote, and a 40” flat screen tv that is equipped with Chromecast for convenient streaming. Storage in the house is limited so there are 2 sets of lockers in the corner that hold the home's sheets and blankets and an 8' ladder next to the lockers. Another quirk of the room is that it has two peculiar outlets - one that only works when the overhead lights are on and another that is in the closet. There is an extension cord that runs from the closet outlet to the nightstand to make overnight phone charging more convenient.

There will be clean sheets on your bed and a set of towels will be provided. If you need additional towels, linen, or blankets, pls do not hesitate to ask.

There is no smoking in the home, though outside at the foot of the spiral staircase and on the rooftop deck is okay. Pls make sure the door to the spiral stairs is closed prior to and while smoking.

I have another bedroom with a private bath on the first floor behind the kitchen that may be listed at times. That bedroom & bath, as well as my own bedroom on the 2d floor are off limits, even if they are unlocked and/or the doors are left open.

I live on a quiet block that has a wonderful mix of homeowners & renters. I'm on the edge of Fell’s Point & Canton, which is great for accessing the wonderful bars & restaurants (a couple of which have been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins, & Dives) along the Inner Harbor. Plus, the amazing Patterson Park, with its free concerts & other great summer activities is just blocks away.

I'm a bit quirky and aside from the obvious priorities (friends, family, etc.), I like to say I'm also about Herman (my dog), Hops (I love IPAs), and Hobbits (or Hogwarts or really all things nerdy).

I look forward to meeting you!

During your stay

I'm presently working remotely from home so you will likely find me somewhere in the house most of the day. Feel free to sit & chat or go about your plans with very little exchange, either works fine with me.
