Colony by the Sea is an ocean-side condo complex, popular with families and couples who just want beach, pool, and more beach! Our 1BR condo gives you access to all that, plus a view that will put you closer to the ocean than you've ever been. The decor is a romantic, beachy "shabby chic", perfected in decorator style. Watch sunrises on our private deck, sleep to the sound of waves, and bum around on the best beach on the east coast! Work from here with our private WiFi network (110Mbps)!

The space
Our 3rd floor condo has 1BR, with a *king-size* bed, and a TV in the bedroom. We also have a queen sleeper sofa in the Living Room.

There is a complete kitchen, with every gadget you need to make meals at 'home'.

The kitchen opens completely to the living room, and you can see nothing but ocean from from every angle.

The living room includes a smart tv/cable (bring your own passwords for Netflix, etc!), dvd player, and sleeper sofa. There is a 20 foot cathedral ceiling that really opens up the entire space, the best part of these top floor units!

Our unit has been renting for years, and we always keep it in tip-top shape. It's popular with couples and honeymooners who just want that ocean front experience.

We pay for our own, private WiFi network, with 110Mbps speed. Work from here during the COVID craziness!

Salter Path is a quiet, primarily residential beach town on the Southern Outer Banks, nestled between Emerald Isle and Atlantic Beach. Interestingly, the beach faces south, which generally means smaller waves and better shell hunting!

There are a few local restaurants, with a focus on seafood. Our favorites are Crab Shack and Clamdigger Inn (almost everything is fried!). There's also a terrific fish market - Willis's - and and a couple of 'back porch' shrimp sellers.

If you're willing to drive 15 minutes in either direction to Atlantic Beach or Emerald Isle, the island opens up with many more activities. I hope to add more details, but for now, I'm just going to list some things that we do every summer, in our "15 minute" travel window.
