Schoorl is known for its dunes, the forest and the beach. We are very happy to welcome you at ‘De Boefjeshoeve’, in a part of our typical Dutch farmhouse, a so called ‘stolpboerderij’. Your apartment (35m2) has its own separate entrance and a private garden area. Our young dog Lizzie, the cats and our two horses will also provide you with a warm welcome. Schoorl and its surroundings are very nice to go biking and for making long walks. Alkmaar and Bergen are closeby. Amsterdam is 55 km away.

The space
The apartment has a separate bathroom with a bath tub and a shower cubicle. It has its own garden space too. The kitchen / small living room space has a low ceiling. It is fully equipped with an oven and a dishwasher. The bedroom has a tall ceiling, as you can see on the pictures.
You can make a nice walk into town, where you will find shops, a supermarket and all kinds of restaurants. The beach can be reached by bike or by car, through the dunes or the fields.

Schoorl is a town close to the sea. Amsterdam can be reached by car within 50 minutes. The beautiful city of Alkmaar, famous for its cheese market in the summer period, is only 15 minutes away. Bergen is only 5 km away, this is a very nice small town, famous for all the artists that lived there. The dunes of Schoorl are the widest, and the highest, of the Netherlands. Both biking and walking are very nice there! You can also enjoy walking in the polder landscape.

I love the sea and the dunes! In 1998 we moved into our ancient farmhouse to be able to enjoy both the beach (a ten minutes drive) and the countryside. We love animals, travelling, painting and kitesurfing.
