A bright and airy 1-BEDROOM PENTHOUSE FLAT with AMAZING VIEWS of London roofs & the Abbey - 5min walk to Westminster Abbey, House of Parliament and Big Ben. Simply the best location for exploring London on foot!

If you are looking for a stylish, clean and comfortable 1-bedroom flat at the very heart of Historic London, I invite you to stay at my beautiful home.

This lovingly created space is perfect for a single visitor or a couple looking for a quality stay at the best location.

The space
Before we start, here are 3 THINGS PEOPLE LOVE about my flat:

1 - The LOCATION is simply amazing. You would be at the heart of everything and can walk everywhere around town from my place.

2 - The building has a lot of character. It's an imposing Mansion House built in the late 1800's. The bedroom feels SPACIOUS, the ceilings are high and it has a lot of natural light (rain or shine) because of its penthouse positioning. The building has a modern lift. My home features ORIGINAL ARTWORK, A VERY COMFORTABLE UK KING-SIZE BED (-US Queen size) and the whole flat has recently been refurbished. My home has SPECIAL CALM ENERGY which I nurture and try my best not to disturb.

3 - THE VIEW is awe-inspiring. One of the world's great churches - the iconic Westminster Abbey - is featured in the view. An architectural masterpiece of the 13th-16th centuries, Westminster Abbey presents a unique pageant of British history – the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. It has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 and for numerous other royal occasions, including sixteen royal weddings.

Here are 4 THINGS TO CONSIDER before renting my home:

1 - I live in a high-profile residential building, so NO PARTIES are permitted in my home at any time during your stay.

2 - The BUILDING IS MORE THAN 100 YEARS OLD. Although I put a lot of time, love and effort into maintaining my space, there are some old features: original windows for example. I live in a conservation area so some architectural elements are protected. Most guests find these features of the property quite charming. Like in many older buildings, the walls can be thinner than in the newer construction buildings - this is typical of old homes build in this era in London. That said, it's not something that bothers me as a resident and that's why I ask all guests to respect the neighbours and not be loud, yell or play loud music inside or outside the flat at all times during your stay. Also, I require my guests to be quiet after 10:00pm. So if you intend to party, my place is not for you. If you intend to behave like a local, you should love your stay.

3 - There is NO TV. I offer HIGH SPEED INTERNET if you'd like to stream your own on-demand content.

4 - My cat Zaya stays with me at the flat from time to time. I keep my home very clean and you will see no traces of Zaya during your stay. However, if you are severely allergic to cats, my place may not be suitable for you.

Now that this is clear, let's get to the description of the place!

***AMAZING LOCATION***

Location is simply impossible to beat! You will be a short stroll away from all the key London landmarks and attractions:

Westminster Abbey - 5min walk
Big Ben - 5min walk
House of Parliament - 5min walk
River Thames - 5min walk
10 Downing Street - 10min walk
St. James's Park - 10min walk
London Eye - 15min walk
Buckingham Palace - 15min walk
Green Park - 15min walk
Trafalgar Sq. - 20min walk
The National Gallery - 20min walk
Hyde Park - 25min walk
A large variety of restaurants, cafes, and authentic English pubs are a short walking distance from the flat. I will be happy to share my recommendations.

***AWESOME TRANSPORT LINKS***

The flat is situated 5min walk from ST. JAMES'S PARK Tube Station (Circle and District lines) and 7min walk from WESTMINSTER Tube Station (Circle, District, Jubilee lines). VICTORIA Station - one of the biggest train, tube and bus stations in London - is only 10-12min walk away. VICTORIA station has access to three different tube lines: Victoria, Circle and District lines, Express trains to Gatwick airport and South West England, Coaches to all the main airports - Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted and Luton, also Trains and Coaches to many cities throughout England and Europe. I like taking Uber across town as well.

***THE NEIGHBOURHOOD***

The building is located within the Division Bell area of the House of Parliament, moments from Smiths Square. The Division Bell area is loosely defined by an 8-minute walking radius from the House of Commons. It got its name because many homes within its radius are equipped with bells to alert MPs to return to cast their votes at the end of long and tedious debates which they have decided to skip. The shops and amenities of Victoria, including the flagship House of Fraser department store, Cardinal Place Shopping Centre and the new restaurant quarters beneath the Nova building are also close by.

***GETTING HERE***

No matter which airport or train station you use to arrive to London, there is always an easy way to get to my place. Just reach out and let me know in advance, I will be glad to tell you the most efficient and cost-effective way of getting here.

***ANY QUESTIONS?***

If there is anything else that is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact me before booking and I'll be glad to clarify.
