The house name "La Omama" I chose in memory of my great-grandmother who dreamed of me in Germany with a place like this little estate. Wake up to the songs of birds and enjoy silence where time is of no importance.
The scent of the grapes from the vineyard that are just one step away and invites you to walk among the rows of Pinot Noir... the ancient olive trees that shade in summer... and then give us an exquisite oil for our salads...a walk to put some fresh water on the Mendoza River. With wonderful views of the nearby hills and snow-capped mountain range! In the Lunlunta valley it seems that the weather stopped a few decades ago...
The house was recycled and lovingly decorated, between rustic and modern, with its high ceilings and wide walls keeping it cool in summer. The perfect place to relax and unwind among beautiful sheets and comfortable beds.
Children of all ages are welcome and lovers of good wine are very happy to organize tours to personalized wineries!

The space
The house is perfect for lovers of nature and tranquility. Listening to the songs of the birds sitting under an olive tree with a book and the boys running in the park and between the vineyards playing.. there can't be anything nicer. Prepare a barbecue with a view of the hills and river or a breakfast overlooking the snowy Andes. You are close to Mendoza at 15/ 20 min with several restaurants and wineries with gourmet food or also relaxed food according to what you are looking for but far from the noises of the city.
For me it is my place in the world that gives me peace and happiness.

I am from Bochum Germany, studying hospitality in Cologne and Economics in Kiel near Hamburg. I am living in Mendoza 12 years ago with my husband from Cordoba and my daughters. I love the distances and the beautiful views in Argentina the diversity in nature and the climate with little rain. We have chosen to live outside the city because we like tranquility and nature. We have found a wonderful place to live on our small farm with vineyard, olive and fruit trees but close to the center of Mendoza to be able to go and enjoy things in the city as well. The project to rent the second house we have on the farm and which we have recycled for several years allows me to work from my house and so spend more time with my daughters and in turn meet very interesting new people.
So far between trip advisors and airbnb I've only had totally nice experiences with my guests. I am happy to help those who want to stay to make plans of what to do in Mendoza and organize wine tours or in the mountains.
We look forward to seeing you!
