Ohana means family, and was born to create an infinite family with all those who walk through our doors. We are an eco-friendly shared home that consists of 2 solar panels, and a recycled rain water system. We love our planet and want to take care of it :).We are just 5 blocks away from the andador of Guadalupe in the core of San Cristobal but idealy located on a private street avoiding the noise! Come and enjoy our terrace with a panoramic view, wifi, fully equiped kitchen and more!

The space
Casa Ohana consists of 5 private bedrooms, 2 with private bathrooms and the rest share between 2 other bathrooms, 1 fully equiped kitchen and dining room, 2 living rooms and a lovely patio/terrace overlooking San cristobal with a direct view of the iglesia del cerrito. The terrace has a sink, bbq and bar area as well as a outdoor couch and hammock to relax anytime! We also have a ping pong table for your enjoyment :).
We look forward to having you as part of the Casa Ohana family!

The green station of Casa Ohana has a double bed, large wardrobe and a private bathroom inside the room. It is located on the top floor of the house. Maximum capacity of people: 2
In the Mayan calendar The GREEN station symbolizes synchronization and evolutionary harmonization. Harmonic rest is where the seeds are selected by harmonizing them and separating the remaining ones for food, those that are thrown and those that are saved for the next planting. It is composed of the missions or enchanted waves of the moon, the wind, the eagle and the star.

Bienvenidos viajeros ! Insta @casa.ohana.san.cris My name is Joelle and i was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. From a young age i had the urge and passion to travel alone, mostly through latin america. I love the arts and was continuously drawn to painting, and jewellery making. During my first visit to San Cristobal de las Casas(3 years ago) my destiny opened the door to the artesan world of Macrame jewellery, as i began to perfection my skill I decided i could live mixing the two things i studied and love most: tourism and art, which is why i decided to open CASA OHANA, my new home and project. Casa Ohana for me is more than just a hotel or air bnb, it is my home (me and my son live here) and a shared home for all travelers to feel welcome and comfortable in. I want travelers to feel what i felt when i was away from home, welcomed and excited. We look forward to having you at Casa Ohana :). Joelle y Koa Insta @casa.ohana.san.cris
