Charming "Courtenay Cottage" with free Wi-Fi, is a peaceful, renovated character home where you can relax & unwind during your stay in New Plymouth, Taranaki. A short stroll to our infamous Coastal Walkway, beach, shops, cafes and restaurants.
Fully equipped kitchen, dining room with table seating for 6, lounge has a couch & 3 recliner chairs, 2 bedrooms, Master has queen bed & electric blanket, 2nd room has 2 king singles. On clear days enjoy a fabulous view of Mt Taranaki from kitchen window.

The space
Fantastic central location and just a short stroll to local amenties, restaurants, bars, cafes and our Coastal Walkway that leads you to East End Beach in one direction or a lovely scenic walk alongside the Te Henui river in the opposite direction. Fancy eating out? Directly accross the road from house is a lovely licenced Restaurant, "Marbles Buffet" (situated inside the Devon Hotel) or accross the road from there is elegant Juliana's Restaurant. Another local favorite for coffee and delicious food, is "Federal Store" approx a 10 minute stroll, just walk accross road, turn 1st left onto Watson St, then turn right onto Devon St, keep walking until you arrive at the Federal Store.
