Historic Lye Bow, established in the 1860’s is just 6ks from Alexandra town centre.

Nestled on the lake’s edge at Butchers Dam, this naturally beautiful 8 acre property is comprised of mature landscaped gardens, orchards, pastures and historic landmark sites.

Bordered by Flat Top Hill Conservation Area, Lye Bow is home to abundant bird life and offers easy access to locally renowned walking and mountain biking trails.

Lye Bow is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway or family holiday.

The space
A spacious well appointed, three bedroom house suitable for a family or two couples.

The cedar and schist Lake House is built on the grounds of an old grass tennis court, the scene of famous tennis parties during the 1950s.

Nestled under ancient willows, on the lake’s edge, the site offers shade and shelter from the heat of the Central Otago summer and an excellent vantage point for watching the abundant bird life or silently contemplating life.

Being newly built the Lake House offers comfort and ease of living. This well-appointed Central Otago retreat features three separate bedrooms (two with queen sized beds, the other with two single beds), a large tiled bathroom with a generous walk-in shower, spa bath, toilet and vanity plus an open plan living/dining/kitchen area, including a dishwasher and large flat screen TV.

Both the master bedroom and living area open directly onto a large deck and seating area, perfect for holiday living.

Heating is by Heat pump or log burning fire.
