Welcome to stay in our brand new house located in the most spectacular part of Lofoten - on the doorstep to Lofotodden national park. Speed down and enjoy this retreat far away from trafic noise and hectic life style.

The place can only be reached by boat. When the local boat leaves the place in the afternoon you can enjoy the tranquility and solitude.

It is a perfect place for hiking, relaxing, reading and meditation.

The space
The sea is only 40 meters from the house and spectacular mountains rise on all sides. There is no road here so visitors must take a boat from Reine to Vindstad and walk the last 900 meters to the house. There is no store here, so purchases must be made in advance.

From the house you can start several hikes, both light trips to romantic Bunesstranda and more demanding trips to nearby mountain peaks. The mountains, which are between 500 and 1,000 meters, are steep, but you go the most common trips without the help of climbing equipment.

The host recommends that visitors stay a minimum of 2-3 nights to find peace and quiet and have plenty of time to explore the surroundings.

My whole life I have liked to travel to learn about different ways of living, different cultures and see how people and nature merge and influence each other. By the years I have, more and more, found my own birth place, Lofoten, to be the most interesting of all places I have known.
