Welcome to Quebec, old and new. We offer more than just a place to sleep, we open our home and our garden and involve you in our activities if you're willing. Enjoy a walk in the orchard, dinner as the sun sets and a taste of the seasons. If we are both available, we'll play a few traditional tunes.

The space
If you are travelling to the maritimes... this is the best stopover ever. Just a few minutes from the 20 and a fine experience to get your vacation started.

If you need a day out of the city... wow, you've found a little gem of a place, close to all the Richelieu has to offer, close to Chouette a Voir, close to the flea market and auctions in St. Hyacinthe and just a nice place to hang out. This is also a great place to start a full day of cycling and to wind down at the end of a day of cycling in the hot tub. We're just a block from 'Le circuit des vallons' listed on Saint Hyacinthe's pages and not far from the routes along the Richelieu.

Where you’ll be

Saint-Bernard-de-Michaudville, Québec, Canada

This is surprisingly rural and surprisingly quiet for a location less than an hour from the bustle of Montreal. There is lots to explore and experience including lovely festivals of all types. We offer in house activities including music making, seasonal harvesting activities, sewing and project weekends.

We want to live a simple life and opening our home to Airbnb guests we think will help us to live a simple life. We're bilingual and hope to figure out how to post the listing in French soon. Richard is a professional traditional musician. He can't always be home to welcome guests but when he is, you're in for a treat. We also welcome musicians to stay and also play with us. I am not sure how to describe myself.. I am unconventional... not eccentric, but definitely not ordinary. Very down to earth, I love nature and all things natural.
