Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
A small cosy appartment-like space, built in 2017, over a newly renovated traditional Cypriot home, built with a lot of love, in a peaceful surrounding. It has a private veranda with a great view of the village and surraounding mountains. The entrance from the main street is through the yard of the home underneath (where the owners might be staying). Everything in the house is brand new (furniture, bedding, kitchen appliances etc).

The space
The place has a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, and a sofa-bed in the kitchen/living area.
The place is on the first floor, and unfortunately it is only accessible through a staircase.
Brand new kettle, toaster, fridge and other basic kitchen appliances are available.
Special arrangemts can be made for guests with kids (contact the owner for more info).

Within a 15 minute distance there are 2 wineries, the Chryssorogiatissa Monastery, and wine routes and other hiking routes among other things guests can easily access. A mountain called "Vouni" was awarded then EDEN award in 2009.
The houses next door are empty, but the people living in the village are always very friendly and willing to show what Cyprus hospitality is. They do not all speak English but they are always more then happy to help any way they can.
2 mini-markets for essentials, a restaurant and 3 coffee shops are within walking distance from the house.
The villages is great for relaxing walks as it offers peace and quiet and a picturesque landscape.
A small traditional museum is also very close to the house.
Archbishop Makarios (the first president of the Republic of Cyprus) was born in the villages and his house is now a museum for guests to visit.
Another museum dedicated to Archbishop Makarios is also open for guests to see more about his life and the history of the island.
The Paphos forest with many pick-nick areas, and its famous endangered Mufflons are less than half an hour from the village.
