The apartment view is on the luxurious city palace of Annibale Ploech, one of the four most important men connected to the torpedo works, was built in 1888 based on the design of the notable Rijeka architect, Giacomo Zammatti. On the other side, there is the skyscraper that dominates the square on the western end of the Korzo that was built during the Second World War, in 1942. Legend says that the skyscraper was financed by accountant of Al Capone! Otherwise, the apartment is in quiet neighbourhood, although is situated in city center.
