Welcome to your house in Russell. This beautiful home, built in 1919 with wooden floors throughout, is your perfect hometown getaway. Completely renovated in 2017, it now accommodates up to 11 people in four bedrooms. The Mahoney House is located less than two miles from I-70 and one block from Main Street. This is an ideal retreat for individuals, couples, families and groups visiting Russell.

The space
The Mahoney house, built in 1919, is a well known home in Russell, KS. A little more than 2,000 square feet, this house was thoroughly renovated and updated in the winter of 2017. You'll enjoy a new gourmet kitchen with quartz counter tops and a gas stove. The main floor features a large, comfortable, well-appointed living room on the left, and an open kitchen and dining room on the right. In the living room, you'll find a 77" television with a cable package including local and national channels, etc. Dining room has a table which can seat up to 10 people when the leaf is installed. A new bathroom with shower and a laundry room with new appliances complete the downstairs. On the upper level you'll find four comfortably appointed bedrooms, three of which feature king size beds that can accommodate two guests in each. The last bedroom is designed for kids with two bunk beds: a full-over-full and a twin-over-twin, in addition to a twin trundle bed. The upstairs bath is all new, including a shower/tub combo, dual rainfall shower, endless hot water and luxe shampoo/conditioner/shower gel. We provide heaps of wonderfully soft, absorbent towels for guests.

The Mahoney house is situated 1 mile from I-70 in a quiet, historic, residential neighborhood. The house is one block from Main Street and it's an easy walk to downtown, where antique stores, the Dream Theater, Barrister's and Judge's Restaurant & Bar, Espresso Etc., and many other specialty stores thrive. This is a safe, welcoming neighborhood - our neighbors include the Chief of Police next door and two sheriffs deputies on the block. Our neighborhood watch is thorough and effective. There are three bikes secured in the detached garage, available for use throughout your stay.
