Rustic Mountain Cabin at the gate to the City of Rocks/Castle Rocks Parks. This is a one of a kind gem you will love and want to return to time after time. This is the absolute closest place you can stay to the City of Rocks. Its just off the main road. Close, clean, comfortable, unique and secluded, the cabin will be your new favorite destination. Now with WiFi, Roku TV's, and a BBQ grill!

The space
Two bedroom 1 bath home at the base of a private access forested mountain. Our secluded Cabin has beds for 7 adults with floor space for children. Enjoy an undisturbed mountain haven in this modernized antique cabin. Ross's grandparents built the cabin from rough cut logs and lumber from their sawmill. We have recently restored and remodeled it with modern amenities and we are sure you will love the rustic feel. The cabin has a portable A/C unit to keep it cool on hot summer days, and a warm gas fireplace to wrap up next to on cold winter nights. For larger groups, the Pinion Yurt and Tipi are available for booking and are near the Cabin in the trees. City of Rocks RV is owned by us as well and is nearby for groups with RV's. Don't forget to book your winter stay! From trophy hunting in the fall to snowshoeing or skiing in the winter the Cabin is perfect year round.

Where you’ll be

Almo, Idaho, United States

Almo is located on the California Trail. Pioneer signatures written in wagon wheel grease can be seen only a few miles away in the City of Rocks. The Shoshone Indians called this area home and signs of their habitation have been found on the property! Almo is a friendly community and cattle ranch and farming area with many multi generation inhabitants.

Ross and Sherida Lloyd have lived with their family in Almo for 12 years. Ross is a 4th generation resident and lives in the brick and log home his father built. Across the road is his grandparents hand built cabin. Across the field is the cabin where his great grandfather raised 10 children. The lovely Almo valley is a peaceful escape from the cares of the world. With a rich history and lots to do we are happy to let others enjoy it as well.
