Welcome to The LaunchPad - a small, yet efficient, self-contained guest house just 3 miles from the center of downtown. It is brand new, comfortable, clean, and uncluttered, with just a bit of a Space Age theme. This is a perfect place for one person or a couple to kick back and relax, or to use as your base camp while exploring Portland. We welcome guests from all backgrounds, orientations, and planets.

The space
The Launch Pad is petite, but efficient. The brand new queen size bed has a headboard with shelves on either side, great for your books or your devices as you charge them overnight. The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, mini fridge, French press, and electric kettle, as well as built-in filtered water. There's a closet with hangers and plenty of hooks. The wifi is fast, and there is dedicated ethernet, as well as a sound system for your smart phone music or podcasts. The shower enclosure has a glass door. All linens and towels are 100% cotton. We keep fragrances to a minimum, and would like you to, also.

Where you’ll be

Portland, Oregon, United States

The Launch Pad is located in Portland's Overlook neighborhood, a short walk to the Adidas campus and the bluff looking out at Forest Park across the river (especially pretty at night). Although our block is residential, an espresso bar is directly across the street, and right around the corner are sushi, Thai, and Mexican restaurants, as well as a wine bar. The neighborhood is a mere 3 miles from the center of downtown Portland. We are close to the N. Mississippi neighborhood and the Alberta Arts district, both with their many shops and restaurants.
