Our 200 years old traditional house is perfectly maintained and it will work as a time capsule, in which you will travel in much more authentic times, where good taste was synonymous to simplicity and people had enough time to dream. The shady garden plays the role of the conductor, sets the rules and interacts in a relaxing but at the same time demanding way. Everything takes place in or around this oasis.
At the end of the day you will reconsider about values and priorities.
So be our guest.

The space
The upper floor has the small living room with a dinning table and a single bed. Next to it is the small bedroom with the double bed. The stone walls are 60 cm think, so cold and heat stay out. The furniture comes partly from the time it was build, as the wooden non electrical fridge that now serves as a closet.
The ground floor is storage room that is non accessible.
In the garden is a separate small building with the kitchenette and the bathroom with an indoor but also an outdoor shower.
The view from the terrace reaches over the town and the harbor to the Peloponnese and the island of Hydra.
A private parking area can host your scooter or bicycle.

Where you’ll be

Spetses, Greece

The house is located in Kasteli, the first settlement of Spetses, which, like most Aegean islands, was far from the sea and was fortified for fear of pirates. When the seas were cleared of bloodthirsty pirates around the end of the 18th century, Spetsiotes slowly began to move near the harbour and Kastelli declined. Today it is a quiet neighborhood just 750 meters (10 minutes walk) from the center of the city, with panoramic views of the Peloponnese, Dokos and Hydra. Summer nights are less than 5 degrees cooler than the harbor due to the proximity of Kasteli to the island's famous pine forest. In Kastelli there are no mini markets or taverns.
