Great location
90% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Cherished, totally INDEPENDENT home, fully equipped and decorated in a modern Mexican colonial style, with its OWN private tropical garden, a solar discs heated swimming pool and an balcony with view downtown, where you can spend time by yourself with family and friends. NOTHING is shared and there is a minimum window of two days between guests. We are pet friendly and smoking is allowed outside. I wish to make your stay unforgettable, letting you relax and offering the best service I can!

The space
My family home has 3 bedrooms: 2 with king size beds and access to the balcony and 1 with twin beds. Each room has ventilators. On the upper level there are 2 bathrooms (one belongs to the masterbedroom), a fully equiped kitchen with a washing machine and dishwasher, a comfy living room with a chimney, a TV and DVD player, a 6 person dining room, and a covered balcony which also has a dining area with a nice view to the garden and city and where you can relax on rainy days. WIFi is available in the entire house.
On a lower level you can find a tropical garden with fruit and palm trees, a covered terrace, an ecofriendly solar sun discs heated swimming pool (not too warm and less in winter) with deckchairs and the third bathroom.
My home offers several comfortable spaces to relax, hang out with your family or friends while enjoying Cuernavaca's weather.
There is a place to park a car inside, but outside there’s enough space to park or we can try to organize more secure parking.

Location

Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico

You will find our home in what was known as "Teomanalco", one of the most historical areas of Cuernavaca and very close to the Melchor Ocampo Park with its traditional Ahuehuetes (Montezuma Cypress), natural springs and its Jardín de Arte Multicultural where most Sundays you'll discover something special.
We have a view to the Adolfo López Mateos Market, which on occasions causes the noise to rise from the busy street below as well as from the local bus terminal. You might also get a glimpse of the Palacio Cortés in the distance. Plaza Cuernavaca, Cuernavaca's oldest shopping mal and Plaza Bugambilias are close by with its bowling alley, restaurants, casino and cinemas, and there is also the Papalote Museo del Niño. To go grocery shopping you have the Mega Soriana, Fresko and Costco and an OXXO is in walking distance.
Downtown Cuernavaca is about 6 minutes away by carand there you can find great places to dine and visit like hopefully soon Palacio Cortés, the handicrafts market, Jardín Borda, Museo Robert Brady, and the Cathedral as well as our new contemporary art museum Juan Soriano. Teopanzolco, our city pyramid, is also just 5 minutes away. On my add, there are a few photos of our historic neighborhood.
In the house you'll find a binder where I wrote down for you some things you might be interested in like restaurants, shopping centers, other tourist attractions and parks plus other relevant information.
Hope you have a great time in Cuernavaca!!!

I'm a German-Brazilian living in Mexico. I love this country, yet I also love travelling and I have had the chance of getting to know wonderful places and great hosts, different cultures and customs as well as the gastronomy of other countries which have inspired my cooking, which is a passion of mine.
