🌮 | The experience:
We first meet at an historic building in Ensenada downtown, where it used to be the first winery in Baja and the second in Mexico since 130 years ago!
Now, the old concrete fermentation tanks were transformed into a small local produce stores and a coffee roaster where we start with fresh coffee and show you around the plaza. Then we’ll walk to a private olive oil tasting where we learn about the production process, variations and how to pair with food and wine.
Next we jump in our car to one spot that makes Ensenada world famous: Fish tacos; founded in 1970, this experience make everyone amazed with the taste and simplicity pair with agua fresca or a handcrafted beer (you’ll love it!)
We’ll walk along a pretty town street ending in a famous and historical Mexican cantina where the margarita mixology was invented.
Then we’ll walk through the main flag plaza but first, We’ll taste a gastronomic jewel: “Abulonato” which is an abalone slabs with Clamato (unmissable!)
Then, we’ll walk around the historic fish market “Mercado negro” to appreciate all the small fish commerce and the port ending in the famous La Guerrerense where we can feast the fresh seafood that Anthony Bourdain loved it!
